Starting from Monday 23rd March, we’re going to be going live on Facebook and sharing videos of activities for you to follow along and get creative at home. Every week we'll let you know the resources you need on a Thursday so that you're prepared to join in from the following Monday.
So that as many people can join in as possible, most of the materials you need will hopefully be lying around your house - the rest you’ll be able to pick up from Wigan STEAM every Saturday (starting this weekend), 1pm - 3pm. Resource packs are FREE, but if you would like to make a donation our contactless card machine will be set up to accept £2 donations.

❌ Precautions to minimise the spread of COVID-19 - Please Read ❌
To reduce your social contact the easiest way to collect your materials will be to drive up to our entrance on Marsden Street and pop in straight from a car. Alternatively we advise walking, ensuring you avoid busy areas.
Please DO NOT visit us if you have had symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with somebody who has displayed symptoms. Further advice can be found here.
Please DO NOT take public transport in order to come and collect materials - most workshops can be adapted with materials you can find in your home.
Please DO NOT visit our premises unless you are specifically collecting resources, and avoid visiting us in groups as much as you can. If you do visit as a group, we will ask that where possible just one adult from that group enters the premises.
Our main door will be open at all times and we will be asking visitors not to touch surfaces or doors when they enter the premises. Resource packs will be laid out on a table and visitors will be asked to sanitize their hands before picking them up. When preparing the packs we will practice good hand hygiene and use pre-packaged materials where possible.
We will not be allowing visitors to enter or use any of our other facilities during this time, this includes the toilet/kitchen area, computer suite and makerspace.
